Jeff career update...

Okay, about a month ago, I accepted this great opportunity with a company called Information Control Corporation (ICC) . I am a member of their Business Intelligence group and I am thrilled to be a part of a large, well-organized company once again. For more information about ICC, including details about how they were voted one of the top ten places to work last year, click on their logo below:

My first assignment as a Consultant with ICC is to work for Wendy's International, Inc., headquartered right here in Dublin. It's a fantastic work environment and I've been exposed to lots of new, exciting technologies. There's also just something about walking the halls that Dave Thomas once walked. The people that have been there for a long time all tell great stories about him. What a nice man. For more information about Wendy's, click on the logo below:

Fun camera features...

The PowerShot SD1000 camera Jenn bought for me has great features that I am just now starting to utilize. Using the "digital macro" setting I am able to take great close shots of flowers and really show some amazing detail.

Also, during our last trip I found the "color accent" feature which allows you to focus on one color and that will be the only color you see in the shot. Isn't technology great? :)

A motorcycle milestone

Jenn and I were dating when I bought my Yamaha V-Max back in 2001. FYI, I had a poster of this bike on my wall when I was in high school and it was always a dream to own one of these legendary machines. It took me 15 years but I was able to eventually make my dream come true. Sadly, we don't ride it as much as I would like, however, we did just turn 3,500 miles on Friday night. :)

The Sea Lions of Pier 39

Okay, we know that it was a very "tourist-like" thing to do while we were in San Francisco but we couldn't resist. The sea lions were so fun to watch that I think we stood there for over 30 minutes. :)

Crossing the Golden Gate bridge...

For those who haven't yet had the opportunity to drive across this amazing bridge, we shot a video for you during our trip. Enjoy!

Please excuse our mess... :)

We're working on moving some stuff around and switching some of our hosting options for the website/blog so pictures may come and go during the process. If you want to see the pictures of our trip to San Francisco, please go to our Shutterfly account:

San Francisco!

We had a great trip and are a bit tired due to being on the west coast for 4 days but it was very much worth it! Our hotel was right in the heart of Union Square and on a cable car line. While we sort through the 400+ photos we took, I will just post a few for now...

The Potting Bench (part 2)!

Okay, I added the top shelves tonight and it really looks nice. Of course, I created it with my bare hands so I might be a tad biased. :) There are 2 removable panels (one solid, one with slats) because there are containers that hang underneath from cleats that hold topsoil and catch waste. We're off to San Francisco tomorrow for a long weekend but when we return, we will varnish it and put it to use! For those of you new to this site, you can click on any photo to see a larger version and you can also leave comments by using the link below each of our posts. Take care, Jenn & Jeff

Jenn's new potting bench

I promised Jenn this great potting bench for her birthday. Yes, I made it and no, there was no way on Earth that I was able to finish it by July 7th. In fact, it's just now close to completion. Here are a few photos for you. This is not a kit, by the way. I bought the lumber and cut everything according to the plans. :)

New look for the website?

We have decided that a BLOG is more our speed and much easier to update. Now you will be able to comment on photos we post and it will be easier for us to keep our site current. Don't worry, I'll be migrating the old stuff over when I have time. :)

More to come...

Thanks for stopping!
