Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a very nice visit with Jeff's side of the family in Wheeling this year. On top of all the great food (and pie), we presented Jeff's parents with some super secret photos we had taken in October. Before now, we didn't have any photos of all the kids and grandkids together. The most recent photo of Jon, Jeff, and Julie was about 10 years old.

Julie coordinated the effort and purchased all of the frames and photo books and wrapped everything up beautifully. Of course, they loved all of the shots but the one below is one of my favorites. What a great tree!

End of an era...

Post from Jenn: Goodbye Winnie...After 8 years my beloved Xterra "Winnie" has moved on to make a new family happy. She headed back to the country side in her old age and will be spending her days just north of Delaware. I'll miss her, but the family who bought her seems really great and her new owner, Angie, is a woman after my own heart. She even liked the BG orange flower sticker! Keep her safe, Winnie. Much love and best wishes!

Jenn and Collin

A few of us had dinner at Megan's place on Friday night and Jenn took the opportunity to hold Collin for a while. Aren't they adorable? :)

Treat or Treats? (hold the trick)

We actually had many visitors stop by this year. Of course, the weather was at least 20 degrees warmer than last year so maybe that had an impact? There were many princesses, a Darth Vader, Dorothy and the cowardly Lion (no tin man) skipping down the street, a duck, some pirates, and one very cute monkey equipped with plastic bananas.

Towards the end of the night, Jenn was asking the kids to take handfuls of candy and they gladly obliged. We only ended up with a few leftovers this time. :)

Oh, Jenn was in St. Louis for two days this week on a work trip but she made it back in time to deliver goodies to the trick-or-treaters. Here's a snapshot she took with her phone while driving to the airport:
